Soarin’ Eagle Rail Tours

May 29, 2021 @ 8:00 am - September 6, 2021 @ 5:00 pm

The Poconos Mountains’ first and only railbiking recreational adventure. Railbiking is a fun outdoor
“COVID-friendly” way to experience the nature and wildlife found on trails and can easily be enjoyed by
all.

Our custom-made railbikes fit comfortably and perfectly onto the railroad tracks and are easily powered by gently pedaling. Our scenic route runs along the Laxawaxen River in the charming town of Hawley, PA.  We have specifically chosen a route that is 6 miles long and boasts lush views and fascinating history.  Our guides are positioned at the front and back of each tour to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the tour making for an awesome experience.

Named after Iran Hawley, the first president of the Pennsylvania Coal Company, early industry in this quaint town centered on coal transportation from nearby mining.  The region also features Lake Wallenpaupack, a man-made lake created in 1926, which measures 52 miles of shoreline.  The clean water and safe habitat of the area have enabled eagles to survive and thrive.  These absolutely incredible birds are a thrill to see in their natural habitat.
